Good morning. Today we start a 7 days series on the topic "Resist the the devil, and he will flee"

1. The Command Comes First.

As you start your day, hear this: God doesn’t say “beg the devil” or “negotiate with the devil”. He says *“Resist the devil, and he will flee”* James 4:7.

Resistance is active, not passive. You resist by submitting to God first. No submission, no power to resist. The devil fled from Jesus in the wilderness because Jesus quoted Scripture and submitted to the Father. (Matthew 4:10). Your authority comes from your position in Christ, not your shouting. Today, choose obedience over argument. When temptation knocks, don’t entertain it. Quote God’s Word. Say no. Stand firm. The enemy has no legal right where Christ is Lord. Resist, and watch him run.
