Urgent Demand for Accountability, Security Reform, and Protection of 240 million Nigerians and Not Corrupt Politicians

Your Excellencies and Heads of Security Institutions, 240 million Nigerians write out of deep frustration, pain, and concern for the direction of our nation. Nigeria has become a global example of how a country with enormous intelligence resources, armed forces, and security agencies can still fail to protect its most vulnerable Nigerian children
Respectfully sirs for seven weeks, our children have remained in captivity. Despite the intelligence tools, weapons, and surveillance capabilities available to the Nigerian state, these innocent children have not been rescued. This failure is heartbreaking and unacceptable.
Nigerians have watched security agencies respond swiftly and forcefully to peaceful protesters demanding good governance, yet the same urgency is not applied to stopping terrorists or rescuing kidnapped citizens. This contradiction has damaged public trust and made our nation a subject of ridicule internationally.
Freedom of speech is a constitutional right. Criticizing a president or any public official is not a crime. No Nigerian should be jailed, harassed, or harmed for expressing an opinion. Democracies around the world—including the United States and the European Union—recognize this principle.
We demand on the Nigerian government and all security institutions to respectfully
Prioritize the rescue of kidnapped children and 240 million Nigerians without delay. We are tired of the lies/slogans how do you politicians sleep while Nigerian children are kidnapped/killed every day while you sleep in your luxury homes that is paid for with Nigerian tax money and Nigerians pay you salary every month to do nothing but lie to Nigerians for decades. To the opposition parties, independent candidates if you cannot work with governors in the 36 states 774 LGA to fix the root causes of boko haram we respectfully demand you step aside cuz you will never do anything in 2027
End the intimidation or arrest of peaceful Nigerian protesters.
Implement real-time electronic transmission of election results.
Abolish manual vote counting and strengthen electoral transparency.
Reform the police, DSS, and other security agencies to eliminate corruption and restore public trust.
We also appeal to the United States, the European Union, and the global community to help put diplomatic pressure on the Nigerian government to uphold democratic values, protect human rights, and ensure accountability.
Nigeria deserves a system that protects 240 million Nigerians not one that silences them. Our Nigerian children deserve safety. Our democracy deserves integrity. Our future deserves better.
