Your Excellencies Esteemed Representatives of the United States and the European Union, 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep concern about the state of governance, security, and electoral integrity in Nigeria. Millions of Nigerians continue to suffer from instability, poverty, and a lack of trust in public institutions. We believe that strong international oversight and pressure are urgently needed to protect democracy and human rights.

We respectfully request that the USA and EU closely monitor all Nigerian elections in 2026 and 2027. 240 million Nigerians fear that past elections have lacked transparency, and we believe that real-time transmission of results across all 36 states and 774 local government areas is essential. We also urge the deployment of drones and CCTV systems nationwide to ensure credible, secure, and verifiable elections.

We ask that the USA and EU apply pressure on all political actors—including the current administration, opposition parties, and independent candidates—to commit to full transparency and accountability. We also request that individuals who engage in corruption or criminal activity and reside in the USA or EU face appropriate legal consequences rather than being returned to Nigeria, where they may later assume positions of power.

Respectfully another urgent concern is the ongoing kidnapping/killings crisis. Millions of Nigerian children have been abducted since 1999, and families continue to suffer unimaginable pain. We ask the USA and EU to press the Nigerian government to prioritize the safe return of all kidnapped children and to address the root causes of Boko Haram and other extremist threats.

Nigerians continue to face severe economic hardship. Despite promises of improved electricity, internet access, and living conditions, millions still live without reliable power, adequate healthcare, quality education, or economic opportunity. We urge international partners to encourage and support large-scale investments in agriculture, housing, education, and healthcare across all 36 states and 774 LGAs.

Respectfully we also ask that the UK refrain from interfering in Nigerian affairs, as many Nigerians have lost confidence in the integrity of its political leadership since your prime minister resigned for corruption no country leaders are perfect Nigerian govt, opposition parties, independent candidates, courts, efcc can do better abolish dss, nysc. jamb reform the police and drain swamp of corruption if you are serious

Nigeria’s 240 million citizens deserve peace, dignity, and a functioning democracy. We appeal to the USA and EU to stand with the Nigerian people and help ensure a future built on justice, transparency, and accountability.
