Wike to PDP candidates: Nobody would gift you power... be ready to struggle for it

Nyesom Wike, minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has told candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that political power is not handed on a platter.

The minister spoke during the 109th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the PDP on Thursday at Wadata house, the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

“I used the opportunity to urge candidates of the party, especially those running for governorship, to brace up for keen contests,” Wike said.
