Empowering Communities Through Waste-to-Wealth Education

Some time last year, our empowerment program- EOG OBAGE BUSINESS EMPOWERMENT COMMUNITY, in partnership with RCCG Fountain of Power Parish LP27, had the privilege of training members of the church on “Converting Waste to Wealth.”

The program aligns strongly with our commitment to supporting the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—especially SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption & Production).

During the session, I taught participants on the value hidden in everyday waste, how to begin household waste segregation profitably, opportunities within the recycling and waste-to-wealth ecosystem, practical steps to turn simple waste streams into steady income and how sustainable waste practices contribute to environmental protection and job creation

I remain committed to putting smiles on as many homes as possible, empowering families with knowledge, and building a generation of recyclers and wastepreneurs across Nigeria and beyond.

Together, we are building a cleaner environment, stronger communities, and sustainable opportunities for all.
