Google’s co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin Never knew that the script they created would turn out to become a big money spinner not to talk of becoming a product that will eventually change millions of lives globally. They didn’t even have the faintest idea how this tool was going to make money for them. In fact they had attempted to sell their discovery to EXCITE, YAHOO and then ALTA VISTA who were big players in the Tech world then. Luckily for them these companies were not interested in buying it because they did not recognize the opportunity at the time. Failing to sell google became a blessing in disguise. It was Yahoo co-founder David Filo who in a bid to dismiss them advised them to take the product to the market themselves. As a last resort they heeded the advice and Google, the world’s biggest search engine was born.
Today, this same idea that was rejected and overlooked by many has turned out a company that is among the RICHEST and BIGGEST Tech Company on planet earth. This is food for thought.
