Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has announced that its landmark Train 7 project is now 90% complete, with pre-commissioning activities already underway ahead of its planned 2027 launch. Speaking during a visit to the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), NLNG Managing Director and CEO Adeleye Falade revealed that the project has generated about 16,000 direct jobs, contributing to economic growth, skills development and improved security. Once completed, Train 7 is expected to increase NLNG’s production capacity by 35%, strengthening Nigeria’s position in the global gas market. Falade reaffirmed NLNG’s commitment to expanding Nigerian Content through local procurement, technology transfer, vendor development and indigenous participation across the gas value chain. NCDMB also praised the collaboration and urged stronger support for strategic projects like the Brass Shipyard.
