The Nigeria Police Force has officially clarified the misleading video trending yesterday that showed a uniformed officer allegedly interacting with "bandits" in Katsina State.

According to the NPF statement, the armed men in the video are NOT bandits. They are duly recognized members of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) and registered hunters actively supporting security operations in Musawa and Matazu Local Government Areas.

The video captured a routine interaction as these community volunteers headed out with security agencies to combat criminality and restore peace in the region.
