THE PERSON WHOM GOD WILL BLESS
God blesses the person who walks in holiness, lives in love, practices forgiveness, pursues righteousness, and obeys His Word. The person whom God will bless is not necessarily the strongest, richest, or most gifted, but the one whose heart is surrendered to Him. "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." — Matthew 5:8. God blesses those who love Him and love others.
"He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." — 1 John 4:8. God blesses those who forgive.
"Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." — Ephesians 4:32. God blesses those who hunger for righteousness.
"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." — Matthew 5:6. God blesses those who obey Him.
"If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land." — Isaiah 1:19. When we reflect God's character—His holiness, love, forgiveness, and righteousness—and walk in obedience, we position ourselves for His favour and blessing.
Today’s Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, help me daily to live a holy life, love deeply, forgive freely, do what is right, and obey Your Word daily in Jesus Christ name.... Amen.
