THE SEED BENEATH THE SOIL

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.

Do not curse the darkness of the soil, For the seed was never meant To bloom in the sunlight first.
There is a season when heaven hides its hand, When roots grow where no eye can celebrate, When strength is being formed In places applause cannot reach.
The river does not argue with the mountain; It keeps flowing, Trusting that persistence Can carve what force cannot.

The eagle does not fear the storm; It rises upon the wind That lesser birds flee from. What was sent to oppose it Becomes the very thing that lifts it higher.
Perhaps your prayers feel buried, Like seeds forgotten beneath heavy earth. Yet the ground is not a grave; It is a womb. What appears covered May actually be protected. The Potter is never alarmed By the shapelessness of clay. He sees the vessel Long before the clay understands the pressure.

SO WALK ON.

If the night is long, remember that dawn has never failed to answer the call of morning. If the road is steep, remember that valleys do not define mountains. If your tears have become companions, remember that rain is often the final visitor Before harvest arrives. The tree does not strain to prove its life; It simply remains rooted and in due season The fruit speaks for itself.

Therefore, hold your ground. Let faith be your roots, Hope be your leaves, and perseverance be the trunk that refuses to bend to every wind, For the One who planted purpose within you has not forgotten where he sowed it and when the season comes, what was hidden beneath the soil will stand as a forest for generations to see.
