The problem facing us isn't bad luck. It's production.
Not a curse. Not some accident of history.
We are harvesting exactly what we planted.
Every bribe accepted.
Every contract inflated.
Every time we chose tribe over truth.
Every time we celebrated the "smart" guy who gamed the system.
That was the input.
But here's what hurts more:
Every warning sign we ignored.
Every abuse of power we looked away from.
Every election we sat out.
Every time we told ourselves "it's not my fight."
Inaction isn't neutral. It's a vote for the status quo.
Actions and inactions don't live in separate rooms.
They work the same factory floor.
The corrupt official acts.
The silent majority doesn't.
And together, they produce this.
So let's be honest.
We didn't stumble into dysfunction.
We built it. Choice by choice. Silence by silence.
The good news?
If it's production, it can be retooled.
But first, we have to stop pretending we're victims.
We are co-authors of our condition.
The factory is still running.
The question is: What are we producing tomorrow?
