🇳🇬🪖TROOPS RESCUE EIGHT ESCAPEES FROM MANDARA MOUNTAINS IN BORNO

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have rescued eight civilians including women and children who escaped from insurgent‑held enclaves in the Mandara Mountains area of Borno State.

The escapees were intercepted during a patrol near Ngoshe, provided with humanitarian assistance, and reunited with the community.

Among them was Mrs. Hafsat Bashir, widow of a CJTF member k!11ed during the March 2026 attack on Ngoshe. Her return, alongside her young son, drew an emotional welcome from residents and CJTF members.

This rescue is a direct result of sustained military pressure on t€rr0rist enclaves. As troops continue to degrade Boko Haram and ISWAP strongholds, trapped civilians are finding opportunities to escape and reclaim their freedom.

Every civilian rescued is a life restored. Every family reunited is a victory against terror.
