Long after official working hours, dedicated personnel at the Abia Digitisation Bureau continue to burn the midnight oil in pursuit of Governor Alex C. Otti's, OFR, vision of building a modern, technology-driven public service.

The commitment of the night shift team has yielded impressive results, with over four million land documents successfully digitised within just ten months, bringing Abia closer to the realization of a fully automated land administration and registration system.

The milestone was disclosed by the Honourable Commissioner for Lands, Mr Chaka Ikenna Chukwumerije who highlighted the remarkable progress being recorded under the ongoing digitisation exercise.

The initiative is designed to eliminate cumbersome manual processes, preserve vital land records, accelerate service delivery, improve transparency, and provide investors, developers and property owners with a seamless and efficient experience in land transactions across the State.

This achievement is one of the many pragmatic and reform oriented leadership of His Excellency Dr Alex Otti, OFR, whose administration continues to deploy technology as a catalyst for institutional renewal and economic growth.

As the quiet work of the night shift teams translates into measurable outcomes, Abia is steadily emerging as a model for digital governance, demonstrating that meaningful transformation is possible when vision is matched with discipline, innovation and commitment to service.
