Nigeria Should Defer Recurrent And Capital Expenditure To Prioritise Security - Makarfi

We are operating as though everything is normal, despite having limited resources and worsening security challenges. We should declare a state of emergency on security and reorder our spending by deferring less urgent recurrent and capital expenditures. Our priority should be to channel more resources into security so we can effectively tackle insecurity head-on.
