Your Excellencies President Tinubu, Opposition Party Leaders, Independent Candidates, and Governors of the 36 States, 240 million Nigerians write to you with deep concern and urgency on behalf of millions of Nigerians who are living in fear, grief, and frustration. For seven weeks, Nigerian children have been kidnapped, and yet the national conversation from political leaders continues to revolve around the 2027 elections rather than the immediate safety and survival of our people.

We have repeatedly called on opposition parties, independent candidates, and state governors to work together to address the root causes of boko haram and other insecurity challenges. These calls have gone unanswered. At this point, Nigerians are exhausted. If you cannot prioritize the lives of our children, then step aside and do not return respectfully sirs

With all due respect President Tinubu, we demand the safe return of all children kidnapped since 1999. We demand decisive action to address the root causes of terrorism and insecurity. We demand for transparency regarding the funds allocated to INEC for real-time election transmission across the 36 states and 774 LGAs. Nigerians deserve to know why manual counting persists despite the resources provided.

To the courts and the EFCC, your silence is deafening. When it comes to prosecuting 240 million Nigerians for free speech, the system acts swiftly. Yet when it comes to accountability for public funds and national security failures, there is no visible action.

Mr. President, Nigerians also remember the promises of free electricity, free Wi-Fi/data, and improved living conditions. These promises have not materialized. We demand jobs for our youths and graduates, the abolition of NYSC, reform of the DSS, and a complete overhaul of the police.

We demand drones and CCTV cameras deployed across all 36 states and 774 LGAs. We demand free housing, education, and healthcare. We demand massive investment in agriculture to make Nigeria food sufficient.

After three years in office, 240 million Nigerians do not feel safer. Our children are not protected. Our communities are not secure. Our future is uncertain in the country of our birth

We demand you to act now. Prioritize the lives and welfare of 240 million Nigerians over political ambitions. Bring back our children. Fix the root causes of insecurity. Restore trust in governance.
