In my time in the UK, I've seen
B. Johnson, L. Truss, R. Sunak and now, K. Starmer resigned as Prime Minister either for double standards, failing to deliver on campaign promises, or failing to improve the economy.
If it were to be in my country, Nigeria, these persons would not even entertain such thoughts despite abysmal performances. They would instead espouse tribal and religious rhetorics to sit tight and continue driving the nation to ruin. Nigeria will only change when we are ready to challenge mediocrity, even if it is dressed up as our parents.
