A message I got this weekend, paraphrased: I started as an HCA four years ago. I didn't think people like me made it to Band 5.

People like you make it to Band 5 every week. I watch it happen.

What separates the ones who get there from the ones who stay stuck isn't talent — every HCA I've worked with already has the bedside instinct that can't be taught.

It's that nobody ever sat them down and said: here is the exact qualification gap, here is the exact timeline, here is the exact application that gets you shortlisted instead of filtered out.

That's it. That's the whole secret. Not luck. Not connections. A plan, followed properly.
