OBEDIENCE: THE PATHWAY TO GOD'S PLEASURE
"For I always do those things that please Him." — John 8:29. Obedience is not about rules; it is about relationship. Jesus pleased the Father because He chose obedience daily. God's instructions are not roadblocks; they are signposts leading us to His best. Here's a simple truth: Delayed obedience is disobedience, but joyful obedience is worship. When God says "Go", don't negotiate. When He says "Wait", don't rush. When He says "Trust Me", don't fear. Obedience may not always be easy, but it always leads to blessing. "If you love Me, keep My commandments." — John 14:15 "To obey is better than sacrifice." — 1 Samuel 15:22. "Blessed are all who hear the word of God and obey it." — Luke 11:28. God's GPS never fails. The safest route in life is following His directions!
Today’s Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, give me a willing heart to obey You promptly, completely, and joyfully. Help me to live each day in a way that pleases You in Jesus Christ's name.... Amen.
