Ekiti State used to be considered as a state with a huge number of educated people perceived to be stubborn on their right and standing by what is right.
The last 2 Gubernatorial elections cycle has unfortunately put an end to that assertion.
The younger generation from this state has totally erased the image hitherto of the state. They now openly sell & buy votes on election day. They even record themselves and post on social media affirming selling their vote for 5k, 10k 15k etc...
