Your Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Opposition parties, independent candidates. With all due respect sirs, 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep concern about the current approach to fertilizer distribution, food security, and the unresolved security challenges affecting our nation.
Nigeria has 36 states, 774 local government areas, and over 240 million citizens. The recent distribution of 100,800 bags of fertilizer to 25,200 farmers in only five north west states highlights a much larger issue our national agricultural strategy must match the scale of our population and our needs.
We have the raw materials, the talent, and the capacity to produce fertilizers locally. Nigerians are demanding that fertilizers be manufactured in Nigeria, not imported. Local production would create jobs, strengthen our economy, and reduce dependency on foreign suppliers.
Your Excellency, the root causes of insecurity—especially boko haram—must be addressed decisively. 240 million Nigerians have suffered for decades, and Nigerian children kidnapped since the early 2000s have still not been returned. Nigerians demand assurance that security is being treated as a top priority not as lies/slogans we just ask a simple question how leaders/politicians sleep when Nigerian children have been kidnapped for the past 6 weeks and children kidnapped since 1999
You promised improved electricity supply and a stronger agricultural sector. To achieve true food security, we need large-scale investment in farming across all 36 states and 774 LGAs. Nigeria has vast land, abundant sunlight, and millions of hardworking citizens ready to contribute if given the right support.
We respectfully demand your administration to:
Prioritize local fertilizer production in Nigeria in the 36 states 774 LGA
Expand agricultural support nationwide.
Address the root causes of insecurity and fix it
Strengthen efforts to rescue all kidnapped children and kindly stop with the fake lies & promises
Nigeria has the potential to be food-sufficient and secure. We demand for bold, transparent, and sustained action to make this a reality.
