Spain achieved an spectacular first #FIFAWC2026 victory that calls for a delicious, filling meal: Paella!.

Paella is a world-renowned Spanish rice dish originating from Valencia. It is traditionally cooked in a wide, shallow, two-handled pan over an open fire. The dish is defined by its toasted, saffron-infused rice and its caramelized crispy bottom layer, known as socarrat.

You don't need a paella pan to cook paella, any skillet or even a large pot will do, and it's surprisingly straightforward to make. Paella comes in several distinct styles, but all are united by a specific core: Rice, glorious rice, and excellent seasoning!.
