Your Excellencies Esteemed European Investment Bank (EIB) Stakeholder and Board of Directors 240 million Nigerians hope this message finds you well. 240 million Nigerians are writing to you as concerned Nigerian citizen regarding the Omi Eko Project and the broader context of governance, security, and economic hardship in Nigeria.

First, 240 million Nigerians want to express appreciation for your willingness to support development initiatives in Nigeria. However, we respectfully request that the EIB refrain from providing direct cash loans or financial disbursements to the Nigerian government. 240 million Nigerians believe that additional loans do not translate into meaningful improvements for the population, and Nigeria already faces significant debt burdens.

Instead, we urge the EIB to directly monitor, supervise, and manage the implementation of the Omi Eko Project. Nigerians want transparency, accountability, and clear timelines. We respectfully request:

A public announcement of the project start date on the global internet

A clear timeline for project completion

Direct oversight by the EIB to ensure funds are used appropriately

Additionally, we ask that employment opportunities tied to this project be made accessible to Nigerians across all 36 states and 774 local government areas. We request a simple, fair hiring process based solely on valid Nigerian identification and passport, without online applications or interviews that often exclude 240 million Nigerian youths and graduates

Beyond the project itself, many Nigerians continue to call on our government to address the root causes of insecurity, including boko haram, and to rescue children kidnapped since 1999. These issues directly affect investor confidence and the safety of all 240 million Nigerians

Respectfully this is a humble request we also encourage all Nigerians to avoid xenophobic actions. Every country globally benefits from peaceful coexistence with foreigners, and we all share responsibility for maintaining safety and stability. "See something, say something" remains essential.

Finally, we continue to remind our leaders of promises made regarding nationwide security improvements, installation of drones and CCTV, and access to reliable electricity and internet. 240 million Nigerians still live in darkness and poverty, and we demand for meaningful action rather than repeated political slogans/lies

Thank you for your attention to these concerns. We appreciate the EIB's commitment to development and respectfully ask for transparency, accountability, and direct oversight to ensure that projects truly benefit 240 million Nigerians in the 36 states 774 LGA
