An old Igbo adage says:
“Let all the old-torn fishing nets be washed down the river, but does that include the ones with some fish still trapped inside them”? Sometimes, the tiny fraction worth saving is the very thing that salvage what is left in a broken system or relationship. Don’t wash it all away in judgment, as if there is nothing left to hold onto. Always look closer at what we are about to throw away or condemn; that little pieces (remnants), is often where healing & rebuilding begins!
