🚨 BREAKING: JAMB DEALS HEAVY BLOW TO COLLEGES OF EDUCATION!

No More Direct Degree Admissions! NCE Now the Only Route from 2026/2027 Session 🔥

In a major shake-up to Nigeria’s teacher education system, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially ended admissions into all affiliated degree programmes run by Colleges of Education.

This means:
- No more direct entry into degree programmes in these colleges via JAMB.
- The Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) is now the sole entry route starting from the 2026/2027 academic session.

This policy is set to reshape how teachers are trained in Nigeria. Many students who were eyeing easier degree paths through Colleges of Education will now have to go through the NCE route first.
