Delta LG Chairmen And Treasurer Must Publish Monthly Expenditure -Chukwuemeke

When we filed the application, we made it clear that the council chairman should not present the 2026 budget until the council complies with the law by publishing its monthly income and expenditure reports. Under the Delta State Local Government Establishment Law, 2017, as amended, the chairman and, in particular, the treasurer are required to publish these reports every month. This is not discretionary; it is a legal obligation, yet it is not being implemented.
