An Open Father’s Day Message to President @officialABAT
Your Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu,
On this Father’s Day, I join millions of Nigerians in extending warm wishes to you. Beyond your role as President, many citizens see you as a father figure entrusted with the responsibility of guiding, protecting, and securing the future of our great nation.
Fatherhood is not only about leadership; it is about protection, sacrifice, compassion, and ensuring that every child under your care has the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive in safety. It is in this spirit that I respectfully draw attention to the painful reality facing many Nigerian families today.
Across our nation, countless parents live with uncertainty due to insecurity, kidnappings, violent crimes, economic hardship, and the growing fear that has affected many communities. Among these concerns is the heartbreaking situation involving the abducted students from Oyo State. As families mark Father’s Day, many fathers and mothers remain unable to celebrate fully because their children are not safely at home.
Your Excellency, every child represents hope, every student represents the future, and every Nigerian family deserves the assurance that their loved ones can pursue education without fear. The safe return of these children would not only bring relief to their families but would also restore confidence in the promise that every Nigerian life matters.
Today, I respectfully appeal to your administration to intensify all efforts necessary to secure the release of the abducted students and strengthen measures that will prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future. Beyond this particular case, Nigerians continue to hope for lasting solutions to the challenges of insecurity, unemployment, inflation, poverty, inadequate infrastructure, and other issues affecting daily life across the country.
As we celebrate Father’s Day, may this occasion serve as a reminder that the strength of a nation is measured by how well it protects its most vulnerable citizens, its children.
We pray for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for you as you lead our nation. We also pray for the safe return of every abducted child and for a future where every Nigerian child can dream, learn, and succeed without fear.
Happy Father’s Day, Mr. President. May God bless you, bless our children, and bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. 🇳🇬
