Although today isn't Father's Day in Nepal, seeing all the Father's Day posts is making me miss my dad a little more today.

I lost my dad a year and a half ago, and there hasn't been a day since that I haven't thought about him. Some days I smile thinking about the memories we shared, and some days I just wish I could talk to him one more time.

To all the fathers out there, Happy Father's Day! Fathers deserve way more credit than they get. Nobody really teaches you how to be a father. There is no manual on how to be a good father. You're just expected to step into that role and figure it out as you go. The sacrifices, hard work, support, and love that fathers give often go unnoticed, but they shape our lives in more ways than we realize.

And Happy Father's Day to all the father figures too. The uncles, grandfathers, mentors, older brothers, and anyone who stepped up and played that role when it mattered.

To those who have lost their fathers, I know today can be a little difficult... Let's celebrate their lives, remember the good times, appreciate everything they did for us, and keep them alive through our memories and the values they passed on to us.

Miss you, Dad. ❤️
