Russia’s Supreme Court has officially banned what it calls the ‘International Movement of Satanists,’ labellin the organization extremist and hostile toward traditional religious beliefs.

The decision followed a lawsuit filed by Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, which was granted by the court.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, authorities determined that the movement promotes extremist ideology and encourages hostility toward traditional religious communities.
