As you start your day, consider the impact of leadership on a nation. The Bible teaches that when righteous people are in authority, the people rejoice. Good leadership promotes justice, peace, and prosperity, while corrupt leadership often leads to suffering. Christians who possess integrity, wisdom, and compassion should not remain on the sidelines when their nation needs responsible leaders. Political participation provides an opportunity to influence policies and decisions that affect millions of lives. As followers of Christ, believers are called to serve with humility and honesty, seeking the welfare of others above personal interests. Nigeria needs leaders whose actions reflect godly character and whose decisions are guided by righteousness.
