Shohei Ohtani and Mamiko Tanaka announced the birth of their second child! 💙.

“We are again overjoyed to experience this wonderful day in our lives together,” Ohtani and Tanaka wrote in a joint statement shared on their social media. “Thank you for being born safely. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us throughout this journey.”

This marks the second child for Shohei and Mamiko, who welcomed a daughter in April 2025. The family has largely kept personal milestones private since Ohtani announced their marriage in early 2024.

The announcement included a photo of the newborn’s feet wrapped in a blue blanket. And of course their beloved dog and first son, Decoy Dekopin, also appeared in the family photo 🐾.
