🇳🇬🪖 TROOPS RECORD MAJOR SUCCESSES AGAINST T£RR0R!STS, NEUTRALISE IEDS, DISRUPT LOGISTICS NETWORKS

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have recorded significant operational successes between 16 and 19 June 2026, demonstrating sustained offensive pressure against t£rr0r!st elements across the North‑East.

📍 IED NEUTRALISATION – BIU–BURATAI ROAD (16 JUNE)

Acting on intelligence from local residents, the 135 Special Forces Battalion EOD Team and QRF conducted a fighting patrol and identified five IED cylinders planted by t£rr0r!sts along the route. The devices were professionally detonated without any casualty.

📍 ENGAGEMENT – MIYANTI–NGOSHE AXIS (17 JUNE)

While withdrawing from picketing duty in Kirawa, troops of the 153 Task Force Battalion encountered an unconfirmed number of t£rr0r!sts mounted on approximately 60 motorcycles. The t£rr0r!sts opened fire, but troops responded with overwhelming firepower, forcing them to retreat in disarray towards Miyanti.

📍 LOGISTICS INTERDICTION – 27 TASK FORCE BRIGADE CHECKPOINT (19 JUNE)

Troops intercepted and arrested two suspected BHT/ISWAP logistics suppliers: Mohammed Bukar (aka "Dege"), 35, and his apprentice, Iliyasu Abdullahi, 26 in a cyan Volkswagen vehicle (reg. FGF-357-AG) conveying Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and relief materials intended for t£rr0r!st elements.

The military encourages members of the public to sustain their support by providing timely and credible information to security agencies.
