🇳🇬🪖CHAINS BROKEN IN FAFU FOREST: TROOPS RESCUE CAPTIVE, DISMANTLE T£RR∅R HIDEOUTS IN KATSINA 🚨🚨🚨🚨

Troops of the Nigerian Army, under Operation CLEAN SWEEP, have intensified offensive actions in Katsina State, delivering decisive blows against t£rr0r!st elements through sustained, intelligence-driven operations.

On the fourth day of the operation, troops of 17 Brigade Strike Group, the Quick Response Force, and 8 Division Special Forces executed a well-coordinated clearance mission targeting t£rr0r!st strongholds in and around Tuga, Matazu LGA.

Supported by real-time Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), and complemented by precision strikes from the Air Component of Operation FANSAN YAMMA, the troops cleared several settlements.

📦 LIVESTOCK RECOVERED:
✅ 36 cattle
✅ 280 sheep
✅ 2 donkeys

This recovery represents a major disruption to the economic lifelines of the criminal groups, whose activities are largely sustained through cattle rustling and related illicit enterprises.

📍 FAFU FOREST INCURSION

Sustaining the operational momentum, troops advanced into the n0t0rious Fafu Forest, applying the Relentless Incursion strategy to deny t£rr0r!sts safe havens. Following coordinated aerial and artillery bombardments, troops converged on the objective area, engaging and destroying several t£rr0r!st camps and concealed hideouts embedded within difficult terrain.

📍 THE RESCUE

During exploitation, troops uncovered a hideout linked to a n0t0r!ous t£rr0r!st leader, where k!dn@pp£d victims were being held under harsh conditions. Two lifeless bodies were recovered, while one victim Nura Yar’Adua was found in chains and successfully rescued.

He received immediate first aid and was evacuated to the Federal Teaching Hospital Katsina for advanced medical care.

✅ Battle Damage Assessment confirmed: T£rr0r!st logistics structures destroyed, and clear signs of enemy casualties observed indicating a significant degradation of their operational capability.

This operation demonstrates what happens when intelligence, air power, and ground forces operate in seamless coordination. The t£rr0r!sts' supply lines are being cut. Their hideouts are being destroyed. Their captives are being freed.
