Here's all SIX of Canada’s goals in their record-breaking performance against Qatar at the #FIFAWC2026 ⚽🔥

Jonathan David has now made history, bringing Canada their first-ever World Cup HAT-TRICK in front of a roaring crowd. It was also Canada's first ever World Cup win!. Before this tournament, they'd never earned a single World Cup point.

They also became the first country outside Europe and South America to score 6 goals in a single World Cup match.

However, sadly not everything was celebration for the Canadians. Tensions between the players started to rise in the second half and after a mistake there was a horrible injury suffered by Canada's Ismaël Koné. Assim Madibo was sent off for the foul, Qatar's second red card of the match.

Canada’s head coach Jesse Marsch said that Madibo came into Canada’s dressing room to apologize to Ismaël Koné and the team about the leg injury he caused.

We wish Koné a speedy recovery!. His teammates honored him holding up his jersey after the match, while the crowd gave an standing ovation.
