The Three Lions are hungry for their first World Cup title in 60 years, and they proved it with a strong 4-2 victory in their #FIFAWC2026 debut. We still can't know if their hunger for the glory will be satisfied during this tournament, but what we can do now is enjoy one of their most famous, most beloved dishes: Cottage Pie!.

A cottage pie is a hearty comfort food casserole. This English classic consists of a rich base of ground beef (or beef mince) and vegetables simmered in a savory gravy, which is then topped with a layer of fluffy, creamy mashed potatoes and baked until bubbling and golden-brown.

A definitely must-try meal!.
