TOPIC:
WHY SOME CHRISTIANS HIDE THEIR LIGHT — SEVENFOLD GLORY

SCRIPTURE

Isaiah 60:1 (KJV)

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.”

KEY TRUTH

God did not create you to live in obscurity. Through Jesus Christ, you are called to shine and reveal His glory to your generation.

THE REAL CHRISTIAN PROBLEM

Many believers struggle with fear, insecurity, low self-esteem, and feelings of inadequacy. As a result, they hide the gifts, talents, and calling God has placed within them. They know God has called them, yet they hesitate to step forward in faith.

REFLECTION

God never intended His children to remain hidden. Throughout Scripture, God raised ordinary people and caused His glory to shine through them. Moses, David, Esther, Peter, and Paul were not perfect people, but they became vessels through whom God revealed His glory.

The greatest revelation is that Christ now lives in us. Through His finished work, we have become the light of the world. We do not shine by our own strength but by His life within us. Divine visitation causes what God has placed inside you to become visible for His glory.

As believers, we do not fight for victory; we fight from victory. We are seated with Christ, accepted in Christ, made righteous in Christ, and empowered by His grace to reign in life. Therefore, we refuse to hide what God has deposited within us.

NEW CREATION REALITY

Christ is in me, the hope of glory. I am not called to hide. I am called to shine. God’s glory is upon my life, and His purpose for me shall be fulfilled.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

To shine for God requires:

• Courage

• Humility

• Faithfulness

• Confidence in Christ

• Dependence upon the Holy Spirit

PRACTICAL APPLICATION

1. Stop comparing yourself with others.
2. Use the gifts God has given you.
3. Speak boldly about Jesus Christ.
4. Serve faithfully where God has planted you.
5. Trust God to open doors of influence.

MEDITATION

The glory of God is upon me, and I shall shine for His glory.

CONFESSION OF FAITH & REALITY

I am the light of the world through Jesus Christ. I refuse fear and insecurity. God’s glory is upon my life. I shall arise and shine in my generation. Through Christ, I walk in victory, purpose, and divine influence.

THREE SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, let Your glory shine through my life.
2. Every spirit of fear, intimidation, and limitation, be broken in Jesus’ Name.
3. Lord, bring me into the purpose You created me to fulfill.

PERSONAL REQUEST

Father, help me walk boldly in the calling You have placed upon my life and use me for Your glory.
