To the man who was trained but never truly raised; the man who grew up carrying stereotypes he dared not challenge, whose fears found no voice, whose wounds found no refuge, and whose silence became a prison.
To the man who learned to bottle everything inside until the pressure shattered him, only to be judged for the broken pieces hear this:
YOU COME FIRST.
Not in selfishness, but in understanding. Your life is the foundation upon which every other responsibility rests. The reason anything else matters is because you are here. Therefore, make it your duty to discover who you are regardless of who chooses you, applauds you, or walks away from you.
For it is identity that gives confidence, and confidence that enables you to carry the weight of life and serve others without losing yourself. A man uncertain of who he is will spend his life seeking validation; a man who knows who he is can walk through rejection without losing his worth.
And may I say this: your truest identity is not found in the opinions of people, the expectations of society, or even the scars of your past. It is found in the One who chose you before He created you. For purpose is always best understood by returning to the mind of the Creator.
When you know whose you are, you begin to understand who you are. And from that place, healing begins.
