Dreams are sweet. Especially when they appear like a movie.
Few years back I dreamt that I saw my ex in the dream. She had broken my heart in several pieces many years ago after she left me for a police officer.
I never had a chance to retaliate, even though I had craved it like ant craves sugar.
Seeing her in the dream gave me joy. The sweet part of it all was that she was standing in the market square with her officer boyfriend.
My subconscious knew it was a dream, and immediately gave me the alert.
I really needed to teach her a lesson. But wondered how I was going to start. I wanted to disgrace her and just wake up from the dream and get away with my offence.
So I ran up to her and pulled down her skirt and pant in front of her police boyfriend.
I was expecting to wake up immediately I had done that, but wake did not come. I kept forcing my eyes open, but the more I forced my eyes, the more the dream turned into reality.
The boyfriend held me by my trouser and handcuffed me. He took me to the police station without hesitation.
Then I heard the policeman say to me.
"You think to say na dream shebi? You get mind naked my girlfriend for market for my very presence. You think say na dream."
He corked his gun and pointed it at me. I could swear I heard the sound life and direct. I even felt my sweat drop on my hands.
This was no dream.
I started begging for forgiveness. Everything became so real. Even the slap the policeman gave me in the dream made a drop of urine drop from my trouser.
I started crying. My eyes became red. It was in the process of the cry that my father pulled me up by my hands. I opened my eyes and discovered I was crying and holding my cheeks with my hand.
"Na who slap you for dream?" My mother asked.
My whole family were gathered around me.
Then I heard my sister say to my mother.
"Mummy, Caleb don piss for the bed o."
