๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ˜ฒ POLITICAL SHOCKER! NDC EXEMPTS PETER OBI & KWANKWASO FROM ANTI-DEFECTION OATH โ€” Nigerians React!

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has reportedly exempted its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, from the party's newly introduced anti-defection oath.

According to party officials, the oath was created to discourage elected members from abandoning the party after winning elections. However, Obi and Kwankwaso will not be required to sign it, a move that has already sparked debates and mixed reactions across the political space.

Supporters say the decision is strategic, while critics are questioning why the party's top candidates were excluded from a rule meant for others.

What do you think? Should party leaders also be bound by the same anti-defection oath? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ‘‡

LEONARD-G: Politics is becoming more confusing these days .You tryna go right the push you to the left you go left they push you to the middle. All for selfish reasons
Jonah Eriba: They must have learnt from the labour party where all those who get elected because of the popularity of Peter Obi dumped the party for APC whom they demonized when they got into office. I support the move.
Adesanya Ayotola: The exemption is logical it is not an easy thing to see a president and VP defect as it were, secondly once they take that office they are the president and vice president of Nigeria.
