π³π¬ The Big Question: Is Government Involved in Insecurity?
π€ This is a question many Nigerians are asking today.
When insecurity continues despite years of promises, increased budgets, and multiple security operations⦠people naturally begin to wonder: what is really going on?
βοΈ Letβs be clear: Insecurity is complex. It involves
π Poverty
π Lack of education
π« Unemployment
π Porous borders
π§ Weak intelligence systems
But beyond all theseβ¦
ποΈ Government responsibility cannot be ignored.
When: β Funds are allocated but results are not visible
β Warnings are ignored or acted on too late
β Citizens lose trust in security institutions
β¦it raises serious concerns about: π Accountability
π Political will
π Transparency
π¨ This does NOT automatically mean government is directly βbehindβ insecurity.
But it DOES mean that failure in leadership, coordination, and response can allow insecurity to grow.
π‘ The truth is simple: A secure nation requires: π€ Strong leadership
π Proper use of resources
π‘οΈ Effective security agencies
π₯ Active and vigilant citizens
