True contentment comes from within, not from external achievements or possessions. When we tie our happiness to the things we want rather than the things we have, we create a never-ending cycle of desire. Once you attain what you currently long for, the initial excitement wears off, and the mind quickly latches onto the next unfulfilled desire.
