18-year-old Nigerian centre-back Hakeem Agboluaje has extended his contract with Dutch Eredivisie giants Feyenoord until June 30, 2029.

Speaking on his new contract, Agboluaje said: "It shows a great deal of appreciation that Feyenoord wanted to renegotiate and extend my contract. I am incredibly happy with the opportunities and experiences I have received at the club over the past period.

"Naturally, this leaves me wanting more, which has made me even more motivated to achieve my ultimate goal at Feyenoord."

The defender has been part of Feyenoord's youth academy since the summer of 2020.
