"Birds of a feather flock together."

Corruption may never end in Nigeria as long as the same political culture continues to dominate our leadership. It is one thing to talk the talk and another to walk the talk.

The President makes grand speeches about fighting corruption, yet Nigerians see little action. If there is a genuine commitment to combating corruption, the fight must begin at home—with family members, close associates, political allies, and members of the cabinet. Only then will the nation understand that there is a new sheriff in town and that it is no longer business as usual.

Many members of the current administration have faced allegations of financial misconduct at one time or another, yet these accusations often appear to be overlooked as long as loyalty to the political establishment remains intact. The true test of any anti-corruption campaign is not how it treats opponents, but how it treats friends and allies.

Nigeria deserves a system where no individual is above the law and where accountability applies equally to everyone, regardless of political affiliation.
