Yesterday youth protesting against bandits/terrorists and kidnappers ...
​Anyways I will say we achieved what we came for. The ratel movement marched from OWO-ROAD to the government house to demand the immediate release of the children from the custody of the kidnappers. As we were at the front of the government house, the governor of OYO state (H.E SEYI MAKINDE) sent his security men to invite us to his house so we could discuss the matter (this move from him is highly commendable).
​As we got to his house, the governor came out and we asked when the children will be coming back home. He highlighted that he doesn’t have total control over the security operatives in the state, but however, he is working on bringing the children back home.
​I went further to ask him if he will need the youth to go into the bush with the security men (BECAUSE WE ARE READY). He went further to assure the youths that the children won’t spend as much time as they already have in the den of the kidnappers any longer, so he needs time...
​AS you all know, we started this protest in Abuja FCT where the president of the federation and all service chiefs live. We made sure messages were sent across that we ARE TIRED OF INSECURITY in Nigeria, and finally, we stormed OYO state where the kidnap happened to also ask the governor what he was doing to secure the return of the children.
​At this junction, we wait and expect the government to bring them back soon.
​TO ALL THE RATELS THAT TURNED UP MASSIVELY TO LEND THEIR VOICES AGAINST BANDITS/TERRORISTS AND KIDNAPPERS THAT HAVE OVER THE YEARS CAUSED THIS GREAT NATION PAINS AND RUINS, I SAY THANK YOU.❤️
​NIGERIANS NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT IF WE DON'T UNITE TOGETHER IN ONE VOICE TO SPEAK UP SOONER, THERE WILL BE NO NIGERIA TO CALL OUR HOME (HAUSA, IGBO, YORUBA, NUPE, EFIK). We all need to speak up. These evil people have taken over our farmlands and our roads, we must speak up.
