#​SuperEagles superstar Victor Osimhen broke his silence on Nigeria’s absence from the #FIFAWC2026.

​”It's bad, not just for me but for the rest of the guys,” Osimhen stated. “We've missed out twice in a row. Sometimes life happens, so we just have to keep moving.”

​Nigeria’s last appearance at the World Cup was in 2018. As a result, many players in the current squad, including Osimhen, have yet to experience the tournament. This reality does not align with the high caliber Nigerian players have and constantly show on the world's biggest, most competitive leagues.
