Reflection on Acts 2:26–28

> “Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest in hope...” (v.26)

These words express deep confidence in God. Even in difficult circumstances, the believer can have joy because God is faithful and keeps His promises.

> “Because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead...” (v.27)

Peter explains that this prophecy was ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Though Jesus died, God raised Him from the dead. Death could not hold Him. This gives Christians hope that through Christ, death is not the end.

> “You have made known to me the paths of life...” (v.28)

God guides His people in the way of righteousness and eternal life. True joy is found in His presence, not in worldly possessions or achievements.

Key Lessons

1. God gives hope beyond death.

2. Jesus' resurrection is the foundation of Christian faith.

3. God guides us in the paths of life.

4. True joy comes from being in God's presence.

5. Believers can face the future with confidence because God is with them.
