As you start your day – Without Jesus, Love is Incomplete.

As you start your day trying to love your spouse, children, or difficult coworkers, you’ll run dry. Human love is conditional and selfish. But “we love because he first loved us” 1 John 4:19. Life without Jesus is a waste because you’ll keep getting hurt and hurting others. John 15:5 says, “apart from me you can do nothing.” His love is patient, kind, and sacrificial 1 Cor 13:4-7. Without Him, you give from emptiness. With Him, you give from overflow. Don’t waste today in bitterness and strife. Ask Jesus to fill your heart each morning so you can love people the way He loves you—freely and fully.
