UCHE NNAJI REFUTES COURT SUMMONS, ARREST CLAIMS
Nigeria’s former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology,Uche Nnaji has refuted media reports, alleging that a Federal High Court had ordered the ICPC to declare him wanted and subsequently arrest him over allegations of certificate forgery, currently being investigated.
A statement, signed by Robert Ngwu on behalf of the former minister, says neither he nor his lawyers have received any invitation or communication from the Anti-Graft Agency, pointing out that he has never been in hiding.
The statement condemned the media trial of the former minister, stating that no amount of pressure, political intimidation will deter, discourage or derail him from being forcused.
He said the case surrounding his academic records with the University of Nigeria Nsukka is still before a competent Federal High Court in Abuja.
