The traditional ruler of Olayinka community in Ifelodun LGA, Kwara State, Oba Salman Olatunji Aweda, has been confirmed d£@d after spending weeks in captivity following his abduction by suspected k!dn@pp£rs.

The monarch’s d£@th was confirmed through an emotional voice message circulated by a member of a committee established to secure his release.

According to reports, the k!dn@ppers demanded ₦21 million and motorcycles as ransom. The Oba was k!11ed under circumstances yet to be fully disclosed.

Why this matters:

A traditional ruler custodian of culture, community leader, and symbol of grassroots authority abducted and m¥rd€r€d while his family and subjects scrambled to raise ransom.
