Government’s Fight Against Insecurity Lacks Urgency - Adamolekun

I want to emphasize the issue of insecurity. The body language from the Buhari administration and what we are still seeing under this current administration does not reflect urgency or decisive action. There is little sense that the government is fully engaged in a serious fight against insecurity. President Tinubu once said the offer for criminals to change their ways would not remain on the table for long, yet it still appears to be there. This sends the wrong message and suggests a lack of urgency. Overall, the federal response does not reflect the level of seriousness the situation demands.
