As elections approach, security must be the top priority. Security funds controlled by governors should be used strictly to strengthen security, because without it, there can be no meaningful development. In the current situation of rising kidnappings and growing insecurity, citizens must feel safe before they can vote. The government must take urgent action, or it will have little to campaign on if insecurity continues.
